On October 21, 2019, just before 9:30 pm, police officers from the Kelowna RCMP frontline responded to a report of a robbery that occurred at a Subway restaurant located in the 3,000-block of Pandosy Street, Kelowna. The male suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, prior to police arriving.
"The restaurant was empty of patrons and no employees were hurt during the robbery," says Cpl. Meghan Foster of the Kelowna RCMP.
The Kelowna RCMP General Investigation Section has been assigned to investigate and are looking for witnesses who were in the area at the time of the robbery, or may have seen the suspect male in the photographs being shared by police.
The description of the suspect male is as follows:
· Caucasian male
· 20-30 years of age
· Approximately 170-190 lbs
· Approximately 6'2" tall
· Wearing grey pants, black hat with "Bardo" or “Bardown” written on the front, and a black hoodie under a white and blue "UFO Plast" motocross jersey.
To protect the integrity of the investigation, the methods used by the suspect to rob the restaurant cannot be released.
