Kelowna RCMP was able to arrest two trespassers Saturday morning thanks to a police service dog.
Officers were called to the area of Finns Road and Evans Court at 4:00am after police received a report of a triggered commercial business alarm.
Security camera footage showed unknown suspects inside the fenced compound, so police brought in Ice, a Kelowna police dog to search the secured property.
Ice located one suspect hiding beneath a trailer and in possession of drug paraphernalia and nearly 4 grams of suspected meth. A second suspect was found hiding between pipes and in possesssion of suspected stolen property in addition to bags, flash lights and two-way radios.
The two men, a 42-year-old and a 34-year-old, both of Kelowna, were arrested and taken into police custody.
