Kelowna RCMP's Serious Crime Unit is looking for people who were in contact with a local man before he was found dead last month.
54-year-old Alexander Hegedus from Peachland was found inside his truck on March 22, along Myra Canyon Forest Service Road, near McCulloch Road.
Police say he was also the owner of a local business called Canadian Painters.
RCMP Corporal Jesse O'Donaghey says police are still waiting on results of an autopsy that was done Tuesday.
"The Kelowna RCMP Serious Crime Unit is now releasing a photograph of Alex Hegedus in hopes of encouraging potential witnesses to come forward with any contact they may have experienced, or sightings they have had of Alex Hegedus on Thursday March 22, 2018, in the Kelowna, West Kelowna, and/or Peachland areas," he said.
An autopsy was performed on Tuesday, which police are still waiting on results from.
Police say the day he was found, he'd been wearing white painter’s pants and a white t-shirt with his company's logo on the front left chest area.
Any sightings or other tips can be called into the RCMP, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
