Kelowna RCMP continue to probe a bomb threat at the Interior Health building downtown.
The building was evacuated Wednesday morning after an employee received a bomb threat via text message.
Front line officers and the RCMP's Police Dog Services section swept the building before allowing people back inside.
An unnamed suspect was later taken into custody, although charges have yet to be laid.
"What's important to know is that we have located the individual, they are in our custody at this time, and we do not believe the public is at any risk." said Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey.
The investigation is ongoing. So far, police have not identified a motive.
"If sufficient evidence is gathered that could potentially support a criminal charge, a detailed report will be submitted to the BC Prosecution Service for a charge assessment."
It's the second time in two weeks that the Interior Health building has been ordered to evacuate.
On February 20th, an unattended bag prompted Kelowna RCMP to clear the building.
There is no apparent connection between the two incidents.
