One week from today, athletes will arrive in Kelowna for the start of the Apple Triathlon.
Race Organizer Susie Ersting says the event features some of the best athletes from Western Canada.
"All of our adult races are sold out. We have a thousand athletes racing on Sunday which we couldn't have predicted, but we are very excited".
Volunteers are still needed for the event.
"Sunday is a massive undertaking. We want to make sure all the athletes are well supported while they are here in Kelowna, so if anyone has some spare time early on Sunday morning, we could certainly use a helping hand", Ersting added.

The Apple Triathlon first started in Kelowna way back in 1983.
