Power has been restored to nearly 3,400 customers in West Kelowna following a major outage late this afternoon.
The lights were out for less than an hour according to a posting on BC Hydro's website. The cause of the outage is currently unclear.
BC Hydro is working to determine the cause of a significant power outage on the West side.
According to the utility's website, the lights went out just after 4 PM.
3,395 customers between Traders Cove and Lakeview Heights are currently without power.
