The deadline to pay property taxes in Kelowna is coming up in a few short weeks.
This year, taxes are due at midnight on Tuesday July 4, and can be paid online through mobile banking, through drop boxes, or in person at City Hall.
As well, the same deadline applies for the provincial homeowner grant, and the property tax deferment program, which can be applied for through the City of Kelowna.
Staff are also reminding people that banks will no longer process applications for that grant, which some have done in the past.
And if you're late on taxes, it can get expensive, as payments after July 4 will be hit with a 5% late fee, and a second 5% fee for payments coming after August 9.
