A public hearing will be held this evening at Kelowna City Hall into a townhouse and condo development on Ethel Street.
The developer hopes to replace three single-family homes, with 44 condos and 6 townhomes, across from the Cottonwoods Care Centre.
City staff is recommending the re-zoning be approved because the project is in line with the city's goals of boosting residential density.
And it would also be an ideal location for some future residents, who are expected to be hospital workers, as the project is just a couple of blocks away from Kelowna General.
The public hearing begins at 6:00 pm
