Kelowna's Journey Home Task Force is continuing to host public sessions, to get input on eradicating homelessness.
Mayor Colin Basran says following last week's meetings, the task force has another full slate scheduled for next week.
"There area number of different workshops, these are called design labs, that are taking place over the course of the next few weeks. And I know that I, and I'm sure my council colleagues hear a lot of comments, suggestions, and various other remarks regarding homeless in our community. This is the public's opportunity, for those who want to share those comments with us, to actually get involved in the process."
The design labs are happening at Trinity Baptist Church between March 6 and 9.
Basran says the more perspectives they get, the better.
"This is a collaborative effort between everybody in the community, because this isn't something we're going to solve on our own. So, just really want to encourage people with their opinions and thoughts on this issue, if they truly do care about it, they need to show up to these events, and have their voice heard," he said.
Along with the seven labs held last week, the feedback will be part of a report that's completed this summer.
