Kelowna RCMP say local drivers are getting a little too comfortable driving way too fast.
Last Sunday, police stopped a woman driving on Highway 97 in West Kelowna, who was driving 153 in an 80 km/h zone.
That led to an automatic roadside tow, with the vehicle ordered to be impounded for a week.
On Saturday, another officer stopped the driver of a sports car, who'd been going upwards of 150 in a 60 km/h zone.
7 drivers have been charged with excessive speeding since March 6, which has resulted in all 7 having their vehicles towed away.
The RCMP is reminding drivers that fines range between 368 and 483 dollars.
