The Kelowna RCMP is reminding everyone to wear pink on Wednesday, February 28th to raise awareness against bullying.
Officers across the province will be wearing pink to work, with several other workplaces also taking part.
National Pink Shirt Day began back in 2007 after a boy at a Nova Scotia school was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to the first day of school.
In response, two students bought 50 pink shirts and handed them out at the school.
