Penticton RCMP say one man is dead and another is in jail after a shooting in the city on Wednesday.
Corporal Don Wrigglesworth says it happened at an apartment building near the South Okanagan Events Centre.
"Upon our arrival, there was one male deceased," says Wrigglesworth. "We have taken a suspect into custody and secured the fire-arm suspected to be involved."
Neither the victim or the suspect has been identified yet.
As of around noon, RCMP were still on scene collecting evidence.
