Local RCMP are investigating after someone stole thousands of ounces of precious metals and cash from a storage locker in West Kelowna.
On Friday, the renter was notified that the alarm inside his locker had been activated, but wasn't able to check inside right away.
He called police on Sunday after finding that the 5000 ounces of silver and gold had vanished.
The silver and gold came in the form of bars and coins, and were taken along with a rare sculpture called "Eye of the Flame."
It's estimated that the stolen metals are worth more than $150,000.
