Restaurant delivery drivers are being taken advantage of in a recent scam.
That's according to local RCMP, who say they've had multiple complaints about a man calling in a delivery order, that's worth 60-100 dollars.
He then tells the driver to meet him away from his home, in a different location, before presenting them with a payment card that gets declined.
After pleading with the driver that he has no cash or other payment method, he convinces them that a member of his family will drop by the restaurant to pick up the tab.
Nobody eventually shows up, but by then the suspect is untraceable.
