Kelowna RCMP are seeking the public's help in identifying a pair of thieves involved in a spree of thefts from vehicles earlier this month.
On Saturday, January 13th, security cameras at a parkade on Chapman Place captured footage of two suspects, a male and a female, entering the parkade and breaking into numerous vehicles.
After stealing unspecified items from the vehicles, the suspects fled the scene.
One clear photo of the male suspect was taken at the scene. Based on the image, he appears to be wearing a long brown jacket, black pants, and a patterned black and white hat.
This comes in the midst of a spike of auto-related thefts. During the first two weeks of January 2018, there were triple the amount of reported vehicle break-ins compared to the same time last year.
Anyone with more information regarding the identities of the suspects is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at (250) 762-3300, or remain anonymous by leaving a tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
