The Salvation Army's Christmas Kettle Campaign missed the mark but not by much.
The target was 700 thousand dollars for Kelowna Lake Country.
They raised 670 thousand dollars, so fell short by a mere 30 thousand.
Captain Darryl Burry says all the money you donated stays right here in the community.
"We are over the moon ecstatic and so grateful for the support that this community has continued to provide the Salvation Army again this past year."
Burry says the money will be channeled to their foodbank program, as well as support services such as skills training and grief counselling.
