Starting Thursday, June 27, sections of Hart Road and Grantham Road will be closed due to ongoing construction for Phase 1 of the Kelowna Integrated Water Project.
Hart Road will be closed between Gulley and McCulloch roads for approximately three weeks and is expected to re-open on July 20. A detour will be available on Gulley and McCulloch roads.
Grantham Road will be closed between Todd and Saucier roads for approximately two weeks and is expected to re-open on July 11. A detour will be available on Todd and Saucier roads.
During both closures, motorists are asked to follow detour signs and directions of traffic safety personnel, as every effort will be made to minimize disruptions. Pedestrian access will be maintained, and residents and businesses within the work zones will be able to access their properties.
By 2021, the $86-million Integrated Water Project will deliver clean drinking water to more than 2,000 Southeast Kelowna households and a sustainable water supply to South Mission agriculture.
