Starting March 26, City sweeping crews will be at work 20 hours a day to clear off Kelowna's roads, sidewalks, and bike lanes.
This work was delayed due to colder than normal temperatures for this time of year, but is now able to start with temperatures being consistently above zero.
Residents are asked to watch for signage that will be posted 24 hours in advance in a selected sweeping zone, and keep vehicles, as well as debris and litter, off these roads so that sweeping crews can work without difficulty.
Sweeping around Kelowna is expected to finish up around mid-May.
