The Kelowna Rockets extended their win streak to four games with a 6-3 victory over the Victoria Royals on Wednesday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna, BC.
The Rockets jumped out to a two-goal lead in the first period, but the Royals tied things up before the end of the opening twenty. The two traded goals in the second before the Rockets retook the lead heading into the third period, where they added two more unanswered goals.
Max Graham was named the game's first star after recording two goals, including the eventual game-winner. Andrew Cristall pushed his point streak to eight games as he earned the second star of the game with a goal and two assists. Jari Kykkanen made 27 saves on 30 shots to pick up his sixth win of the season.

Standing in front of the Royals net, Hiroki Gojsic (3) backhanded Tij Iginla's rebound past Jayden Kraus to give the Rockets the opening lead of the game. Max Graham (3) took off on two-on-two while short-handed, when crossing the blueline Royals forward Dawson Pasternak fell allowing Graham to cut to the net. Cole Reschny (3) skated past two past two Rockets defenders as the puck bounced off the end boards and onto Cole Reschny's (3) stick. Tanner Scott (5) standing in front of the Rockets net banged a feed out front to him past Jari Kykkanen.
Gabriel Szturc's (5) power play one-timer pushed the Rockets back ahead, but Teydon Trembecky (4) responded for the Royals. Max Graham (4) let a shot fly from the left faceoff dot to give Kelowna the lead once again.
Standing at the side of the net, Andrew Cristall (8) sneakily redirected Jackson DeSouza's pass into the net. Less than a minute later, Tij Iginla (13) added another Rocket goal.
The Rockets will head out on the road this weekend to face the Spokane Chiefs on Friday at 7:05 pm and the Wenatchee Wild on Saturday at 6:00 pm.
The next Rockets home game is Friday, November 3 when the Rockets host the Royals at Prospera Place.
