West Kelowna Council is going ahead with a roundabout on Boucherie Road at Hudson as part of Phase 2 of its Wine Trail upgade.
The City says 80% of those who attended an open house, and responded to an online survey, preferred a roundabout at the intersection.
Council also supports separate cycling lanes along the corridor.
As for designing a roundabout for the Anders Road intersection - Council will make a decision on whether to install the roundabout, or a turning lane instead, once costs are determined.
Council also supports closing access to Boucherie Road from Skyline and Stevenson Roads and installing sidewalks on one side throughout - and on both sides where fronting development.
Council also decided not to go ahead with burying overhead hydro lines, from Stuart to Ogden Roads, which BC Hydro estimated would cost between $2-million and $3-million.
West Kelowna's 10-Year Capital Plan includes just over $5-million for construction of the Phase 2 upgrade.
