There is no manual for how to teach a class over a computer, especially when we're talking kindergarten to grade 12.
School District 23 Superintendant Kevin Kardaal says it's been a challenge but it's coming together, "There are hiccups here and there and, again, anytime we bump into those, that work needs to happen between a student and a teacher or with the support of a parent and the principal and we'll strive to get it right. That's our goal. This is a brand new approach and we want to make sure we continue to improve as we're in this circumstance."
Kardaal says teachers are looking for the sweet spot between not enough instruction and homework and too much.
