It is back to school - sort of - for teachers in School District 23.
Starting this week, they are being asked by superintendent Kevin Kaardal to come in one day per week in case schools reopen.
"We want you to come experience the safety protocols that are there and make sure you know them. We want you to do that once this week, once next week and then we'll see if there's any announcements in preparation just in case the model changes from what we have now."
Close to 400 students, with parents classified as essential workers, have been attending class in the Central Okanagan.
