A busy weekend for Penticton Search and Rescue.
Eighteen members responded to two calls, a report of a female in distress while snow shoeing in the Nickel Plate Nordic trails, which required an air evacuation.
The othe, a lost female hiker in the Mahoney Lake area near OK Falls.
Both incidents ended successful with the use of a cellphone GPS coordinates, which enabled searchers to find the lost person's location.
