Police have arrested a Kelowna man after raiding a home Friday morning.
Just before 11:30AM, Kelowna RCMP officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 1000-block of Lawson Avenue.
“The execution of the warrant, to search the Lawson Avenue residence, prompted the temporary disruption of traffic along Gordon Drive for police and public safety,” said Corporal Jesse O’Donaghey. “The RCMP Emergency Response Team’s armoured vehicle was used and a man was taken into police custody without incident at the scene.”
A 34-year-old Kelowna man is now facing potential charges. Police have not released the suspect's name or any details related to crimes he may have committed.
The police investigation is ongoing.
