A previously convicted killer is facing charges once again after a search warrant was executed at a house on Hein Road last Friday.
Police found a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic pistol inside the home and took two men and four women into custody, including 33-year-old Daniel Mader.
Mader served 8 years in prison for his role in the 2005 murder of 26-year-old Jody Elliot, a local drug dealer. He also served 18 months in jail following an incident in 2013 where he ran away from police in a stolen truck.
Mader is now facing charges for failing to comply with his probation order, along with countless firearms offences. He remains in custody and will re-appear in court on January 19.
30-year-old Shannah Mccray is also facing firearms charges and 25-year-old Rebecka Hill is facing drug trafficking charges after police found suspected cocaine and heroin in her possession during the search.
