Soon, your walk or ride along one section of the Kettle Valley Rail (KVR) Trail will be a little smoother.
The City’s Parks crew will be repaving a section of the path just south of Nanaimo Avenue E next week to remove some bumps in the concrete and potential trip hazards. A portion of the trail will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 17 and Wednesday, Oct. 18, to safely conduct work in the area.
Watch for detour signs and traffic control personnel on both the north and south end of the KVR Trail during this time – and thank you for your patience.
The KVR Trail, which stretches 660 km from Hope to Castlegar, is a decommissioned rail trail that has been converted into a recreational trail network, and is part of the Trans Canada Trail. Learn more about our trail networks at penticton.ca/trails.
