Kelowna's Kelsey Serwa will compete in her third Winter Olympics next month. She was officially named to the Canadian ski cross team today, along with 3 other women and 4 men.
The women’s team will be led by 2014 Sochi gold medalist Marielle Thompson. Thompson is recovering after rupturing her ACL and MCL during training in October 2017. She's yet to compete this season.
Serwa has come back from multiple injuries in her career as well. Most recently, she damaged the cartilage in her knee, December of 2016. Serwa is the defending silver medalist, as she was side-by-side with Thompson, on the Sochi podium.
