A North Cariboo Air aircraft, that pilots said may be having landing gear trouble, touched down safely at Kelowna International Airport Thursday morning.
Airport Spokesperson, Jasmie Patrick, says the plane, operating on behalf of Pacific Coastal Airlines, was on approach from Victoria.
"As a safety precaution, emergency response teams were dispatched on standby. The aircraft ended up landing safely at 9:55 this morning," she says.
Patrick says pilots informed air traffic control at around 8:40 am about the possible landing gear issue.
There were 5 passengers and 2 crew members on board.
