Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the mountain passes.
The weather office says a frontal system will move across the BC interior today bringing up to 20 cm of snow to the Coquihalla Highway between Hope and Merritt - Highway 3 from Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass - and the Trans-Canada from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass.
A warm front will start things off this morning with light accumulations - then it'll get heavier this afternoon as the cold front passes. The snow is expected to ease overnight.
Be prepared for changing road conditions - and poor visibility in heavy snow.
