Snowfall Warnings are in effect for the Trans-Canada, the Coquihalla and Highway 3.
Environment Canada says up to 25 cms could fall on the Coquihalla between Hope and Merritt - and on Highway 3 between Paulson Summit and Kootenay Pass.
And up to 20 cms could drop on Highway 1 from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass.
If you have to travel on those routes be prepared for possible reduced visibility and poor road conditions.
There are also snowy conditions on the Okanagan Connector at Brenda Mine, Pennask Summit, and Elkhart.
The intense Pacific weather system is expected to move on tonight.
