It'll be snowy, but milder for Kelowna this weekend.
Environment Canada Meteorlogist, Alyssa Charbonneau, says the temperature will hold steady for tonight and Saturday at minus-9 - which is 10 degrees warmer than earlier in the week.
Then Charbonneau says a low pressure system will move into the Okanagan from the southwest bringing some precipitation..
"We don't expect too extreme of amounts, but it looks like we might be in for a chance of flurries Saturday night with some more steady snow beginning Sunday. The timing of that, right now, looks like the snow will begin Sunday afternoon and continue into Monday," says Charbonneau.
She says total amounts of snow will be in the 5 cm range.
Charbonneau says there's also a good chance of flurries for the rest of next week, especially Wednesday when periods of snow are in the forecast.
