Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Okanagan Valley, as well as The Kootenays, Boundary, Arrow Lakes-Slocan Lake and Elk Valley Regions.
Showers and thunderstorms over the next few days will impact areas affected by overland flooding with total rainfall amounts between 20 and 40 millimetres by late Friday.
