A Local State of Emergency in West Kelowna has ended following the completion of flood damage repairs.
The declaration went into effect on March 23rd after a severe rain storm caused flooding on a part of Lower Glenrosa Road.
When the flooding occurred, some infrastructure between Glencoe and Glenway was compromised, which meant the City had to access private property in order to conduct the repairs.
The area also had erosion, road damage, and a destabilized utility pole as a result of the flooding.
