Stockwell Day has a new job.
The 69 year-old has been appointed chairman of the board of First Responders Technologies.
It's a Vancouver-based company that develops WiFi-based technologies designed to detect concealed weapons.
Day is familar in these parts as an MP for what used to be the Okanagan-Coquihalla riding.
He held that post for 11 years.
In early June, Day stepped down from the Telus’ board of directors for comparing his childhood bullying to enduring racism.
