Canada's fastest-growing airport for domestic travel has added another option - low-cost carrier 'Swoop' is set to begin flying in and out of Kelowna this spring.
It'll provide non-stop service from Kelowna International Airport to Winnipeg three times a week, from May 24th until October 25th.
Airport Director Sam Samaddar says they're excited to welcome 'Swoop' - which will provide more options for travellers.
Swoop's president Steven Greenway says the Okanagan Valley is a popular leisure market - and the route between Kelowna and Winnipeg provides excellent value for those looking to explore Canada this summer.
In 2018, Kelowna airport hit a record-breaking 2,080,372 - a 31-percent increase or more than 486,700 passengers during the last three years.
Flights are now available for purchase on Swoop’s website at FlySwoop.com.
