A few temperature records were broken in the Okanagan on the weekend.
"Both Summerland and Penticton got up to 30 and a little bit degress celcius, breaking records that dated back to the 1930's in some cases, so a pretty significant record for May 12th".
Environment Canada's Matt MacDonald says Kelowna came close to breaking a temperature record Saturday, coming 0.1 degrees short of the old mark in 1993.
"This region that has been dominating weather patterns is flattening out. We are going to be getting into much more typical spring like pattern which I think it is good news considering how dry, we haven't seen any rain so far this month in Kelowna," MacDonald added.
The rainiest day of the week is Thursday.
