Kelowna RCMP are looking for two men who allegedly stole hundreds of dollars worth of golf balls from a local driving range.
At around 3:30 PM on Monday, August 6th, police responded to a call to the Golf Centre on Benvoulin Road. They learned that the suspects had filled three buckets up with golf balls for a $45 rental fee, before loading them into their blue Suzuki Sidekick and driving away.
In total, approximately 360 golf balls were taken, with a cost of $400.
Surveillance footage at the Golf Centre captured both suspects on film. One was wearing a blue tank top and dark shorts, while the other wore a green tank top and orange shorts. Both were also wearing sunglasses and dark baseball caps.
"We would like to encourage the two men to demonstrate proper etiquette and come forward to speak to police, or at least return what doesn't belong to them," says RCMP Corporal Jesse O'Donaghey.
Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
