It's been a few weeks of consistent valley cloud but we might get a brief refrain Tuesday afternoon. Environment Canada meteorologist Lisa West says the current high pressure ridge is going to leave for a short time before coming back Wednesday or Thursday.
After that, West says, "We are calling for some flurries on Friday so unfortunately it's not replacing the low cloud with sun. It's replacing the low cloud with more of a system and a chance of snow showing up."
Ever the optimist, West says it'll be "a bit more of a Christmas-sy look"
