A 61-year-old Kelowna man charged with second degree murder will go to trial early next year.
Jay Sinclaire Thomson was arrested last November in connection to the death of Theresa Neville.
Neville, a mother of two, was discovered dead inside a Kelowna residence back in June 2013.
Her two daughters were found unharmed inside the home.
A lengthy police investigation followed, which nearly went cold until Thomson was arrested, over four years since the alleged murder took place.
Thomson, who has been out on bail since December, will be back in court for a six-week jury trial on January 14th, 2019.
The exact details of Neville’s death have not yet been released.
