At least 8 people in Glenmore woke up to unpleasant surpise Sunday morning.
A person, or group of people, slashed 10 tires on several cars on Tronson Court and Tronson Drive.
Two vehicles were rifled through and an expensive bowie knife was stolen from one car, which officers believe was used to slash the tires.
The interior of one car was also damaged.
Investigators are analyzing physical evidence recovered from some of the vehicles.
RCMP recommend that the public report all crimes, completed or attempted, to police and ask that vehicle owners, whenever reasonably possible, refrain from disturbing their motor vehicles which in many cases can be examined by our forensic specialists for evidence.
Anyone who may have witnessed these crimes being committed or has any information which may assist investigators identify a suspect, is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
