Pro-Ex Transport will have a 53’ trailer set up in Kelowna’s Real Canadian Superstore parking lot—2280 Baron Road, starting at 8:00, Tuesday morning. They're challenging the community to help fill a trailer with emergency items for flood-impacted Grand Forks.
Grand Forks and surrounding area has been hit hard by recent flooding, with more than 1,600 homes on evacuation, and more flooding is expected in the near future. “It seems pretty obvious, as we’re a transport company, the best way we can help is to send emergency items to these people,” said Pat McCullough, Pro-Ex Transport Founder. “So now the challenge is to our local community: Kelowna, let’s show them our support!”
Emergency donations accepted include: water, blankets, personal items, non-perishable foods, and clothing. The trailer will be set up until it’s reached full capacity.
