On Wednesday morning, West Kelowna Fire Rescue responded to a fully involved structure fire on Grouse Road.
Crews arrived to find a single story home with active fire from the structure.
Initial reports from bystanders were that the home was vacant. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and completed primary and secondary search confirming no occupants were inside the building.
There were no injuries reported - and an investigation into the fire cause is underway.
While crews were on scene, a second call was reported for smoke in the area of Scott Crescent.
Firefighters discovered two small grass fires - and consider them suspicious. Investigators are on scene.
Fire officials say the open burning season is over - so, any sightings of smoke should be reported to 9-1-1 immediately.
