Emergency crews responded to a collision between a red Harley motorcycle and a silver Chevrolet Suburban just after 1:00 PM Sunday afternoon.
It happened in the westbound lane on the bridge headed into West Kelowna.
Corporal Jesse O'Donaghey says the motorcycle crashed into the Suburban when the latter stopped suddenly to avoid a bouncing object on the road.
"The two riders of the motorcycle, a man and a woman in their 50's, from Lake Country, were transported to hospital for treatment of neck and facial injuries," says O'Donaghey. "Those injuries were believed to be non-life threatening in nature."
Police are still investigating, and are asking any witnesses who were unable to stop at the scene to contact them at 250-762-3300.
