Two Kelowna men are facing charges in Ontario after officers allegedly found fentanyl and other drugs in their car during a traffic stop.
Ontario Provincial Police say 27-year-old Dillan Butler and 25-year-old Mitchell Spurrell have been charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking in addition to possession of fentanyl.
They were arrested by officers on Highway 11 in Northern Ontario on Wednesday.
They're also charged with possession of more than three kilograms of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and obstructing a peace officer.
They're being held in custody and are expected to appear in court in Cochrane, Ontario on Friday.
