Two people had to be rescued over the weekend by Central Okanagan Search and Rescue.
On Saturday - a young hiker became disoriented in steep terrain - and was lowered down from a cliff near McDougal Rim. Two COSAR members then walked him out just north of the Rose Valley Reservoir.

He was checked over by an ambulance crew and released.
Then on Sunday - a middle-aged hunter was helicoptered to a waiting ambulance, after he crashed his quad near the 4-kilometre mark of Myra Canyon Road.
He reportedly suffered broken ribs and suspected spinal injuries.
