Mayors and councillors from across the province are attending the Union of BC Municipalities Convention in Vancouver this week.
Kelowna Mayor Colin Basran and West Kelowna Mayor Gord Milsom are there.
The City of West Kelowna has put forward two resolutions at the covention.
One calls for the UBCM to lobby the province to let municipalities bring back photo radar at their request and expense.
Council states it is not a cash grab, but a deterrent to speeding in school zones and residential areas notorious for speeders.
The other resolution deals with e-cigarettes. The City wants the province to strictly regulate the marketing and sale of vaping products to minors.
For the first time, the city of Kelowna did not put forward any resolutions.
