A convicted killer has been arrested a day after escaping from a B.C. minimum security prison.
Robert Raymond Dezwann, a 53-year-old prisoner at B-C's minimum security Mission Institution, went missing yesterday afternoon.
Dezwann is serving a life sentence with no chance of parole for 15 years after being convicted of strangling 16-year-old Cherish Oppenheim in 2001 in Merritt. He was living in Kelowna at the time of the murder.
Police say they located and arrested Deswann in Agassiz, although no other details have been released.
