Kelowna RCMP are looking for a missing man who officers believe may be somewhere in the Okanagan Valley.
65-year-old Mohammedine Madani was last heard from by family around July 1 and reported missing to police on July 17.
“At that time Mr. Madani eluded to his family that he had sought employment at a farm or orchard in the Okanagan as a seasonal agricultural worker,” said Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey.
Police say there is nothing to indicate foul play at this time and believe Madani may still be in the Okanagan Valley or has travelled to the Lower Mainland or Vancouver Island.
Authorities describe Madani as a non-caucasian male, 5 ft 11, weighing 155 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mohammedine Madani is urged to contact their local police, or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net or by texting your tip to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
