UPDATE:
That was fast! According to FortisBC's website - a power outage in Kelowna has been repaired.
Earlier this morning (Friday) - power was knocked out to about 2,571 customers in a section of Kelowna from Dickson Avenue to Pandosy - and Harvey at Burtch to KLO Road.
There's no word on what caused the outage - but FortisBC reports the power is back on.

FortisBC is dealing with a power outage this morning affecting 2,571 customers in Kelowna.
The outage ranges from Dickson Avenue in the east to Pandosy in the west - then south to KLO Road.
In the north area - it just touches Harvey Avenue near Burtch.
There's no word on what caused the outage - but on its website, FortisBC says crews are working on repairs.
