Update (7:20 pm):
An Evacuation Order has been issued for two properties on Lakeshore Road – 6214 and 6490 - because a landslide.
Both those homes are on Lakeshore just south of Okanagan Mountain Park, where the landslide is blocking in six properties at the end of the street.
The other evacuated home is at 2002 Ethel Street, which is right on the edge of Mill Creek, just south of Sutherland Avenue.
Killiney Beach has also been closed to the public until further notice.
Officials have set up an Emergency Support Services reception centre at the Salvation Army on the corner of Burtch Road and Sutherland, to give information to anyone impacted by flooding, as well as register those who are on Evacuation Order.
As well, sandbags and sand are now available at various locations around the Central Okanagan.
Sand is available in Kelowna at 1948 Lindahl Street, which is right across from the intersection of Lindahl and McInnes Avenue.
As well, there's sand at the corner of Richter Street and Rowcliffe Avenue, and at the Cook Street boat launch.
Sandbags are available at the Kelowna Fire Hall on Enterprise Way until 10 pm Friday, and then again at 7 am Saturday morning.
Sand is also available for people in West Kelowna at Falcon Park on Green Bay Road, Casa Loma Beach Park on Casa Loma Road, and Pebble Beach Park at the end of Whitworth Road.
People in North Westside can fill sandbags at the Shorts Creek Firehall, but are being asked to call ahead to make arrangements at 250-545-1195.
Sand is also available for people in Joe Rich at the Joe Rich Fire Rescue Hall on Highway 33.
Residents living near creeks in the Central Okanagan have been fending of rising water levels throughout the day.
An Evacuation Alert has been put in place in the Fintry Delta area, just south of Fintry Provincial Park. It affects approximately 90 properties accessed by Fintry Delta Rd, Morden Rd and Shorts Rd. Residents in the area should be prepared to leave their homes on short notice and are recommended to take steps to protect their properties from potential flooding.
An Evacuation Order remains in place for Fintry Provincial Park. The caretaker and about 5 campers left the area earlier today.
A number of roads in the Central Okanagan have been affected by the flooding.
In Kelowna, Bulman Rd. is closed from Shadow Ridge golf course to Heron Rd. and there are streets throughout the city that have been flooded, including Marshall St.
In West Kelowna, Gellatly Rd. is closed from the Canyon Ridge subdivision to the intersection with Boucherie Rd, and Westside Rd has single lane alternating traffic near the North Westside Firehall at Short's Creek.
In Lake Country, a portion of Beaver Lake Rd. is closed.
Residents are responsible for flood-proofing their homes. Sandbags are no longer available at fire halls but sand is being provided in certain areas.

The Central Okanagan Emergency Operation Centre, which was activated this morning in response to the flooding, says government works and emergency personnel continue to assess and respond to reports of localized flooding throughout the Cities of Kelowna, West Kelowna, the Ellison area and those in Fintry off Westside Rd.
